Knighthead Life has selected Brain Co. to build the AI intelligence layer for its annuity operations, starting with new business transfers and in-force servicing.
CHARLOTTE, N.C., and SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., October 1, 2026: Knighthead Life has selected Brain Co. to build the AI intelligence layer supporting its operations, starting with new business transfers and in-force servicing.
The intelligence layer connects the applications, documents, and decisions involved in administering an annuity policy, coordinating work across Knighthead Life’s existing systems while keeping people in control of consequential decisions. It stays current as policies move through their lifecycle, carrying forward the context behind each action and decision.
The first workflows will support intake, validation, document assembly, servicing requests, and policy administration. The goal is to increase the overall capacity of the team to handle significantly larger case volumes while reducing costs and improving the overall customer experience.
The same foundation can support additional workflows across the policy lifecycle, from straight-through case issuance to communications with agents and policyholders.
